Effective SEO in 2026: The Do’s and Don’ts Businesses Need to Know
A practical guide covering the biggest SEO trends, mistakes, and best practices businesses should follow in 2026 to improve rankings, visibility, and long-term growth.
From AI-visualized mockups to a custom-coded, SEO-ready website for a growing Ontario psychology practice.

Mindframe Psychology Centre is a Mississauga-based practice of registered psychologists and therapists offering assessments, therapy and specialty programs in person and virtually across Ontario. The practice came to Prime Stratix to replace its old website before a firm launch date, with a clear brief: a professional, unique site that attracts new clients and grows visibility, while keeping the brand imagery the practice already uses in print.

Before a line of code was written, our team used AI visualization to explore layout directions, colour palettes and page structures, then turned the strongest concepts into detailed mockups for the client to review. Once the direction was approved, our developer built the site from the ground up on Astro and Sanity, deployed through GitHub and Vercel, and migrated the practice's blog archive from 2022 onward.
Dr. Moraes wanted a website as detail-oriented as her practice: calm, credible and easy to navigate for families, adults and referral sources. Our goal was to deliver that experience while building an SEO foundation targeting searches like "Psychologist Mississauga," "Therapist Mississauga" and "Psychoeducational Assessment" across every city the practice serves.

It's so exciting to see the website coming together! Thank you to everyone on the Prime Stratix team for working so diligently on this. We really appreciate it!

The new site spans 65 indexed pages, including dedicated pages for five assessment types, eight therapy and specialty services, five clinician profiles and five city location pages for Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Milton and Caledon. A warm terracotta and navy palette, editorial serif headlines and subtle scroll-reveal animations give the practice a premium look without losing the calm tone clients expect from a psychology centre. Interactive features include a searchable, categorized FAQ and a team directory clients can filter by clinician type, availability, language and therapy approach.

Our SEO team added structured data across the site, including MedicalBusiness, FAQPage, MedicalTest, BlogPosting, Person and BreadcrumbList schema, published an auto-updating XML sitemap and robots.txt, and built local landing pages for each city in the practice's service area. Service and assessment pages were written around the practice's target keywords, and 26 blog articles were published and interlinked to build topical authority.
The approved mockups were custom-coded in Astro with Sanity as the content backend, so the practice's team can publish new blog posts without touching code. Instead of on-site intake forms, every booking and Client Portal call to action routes to the practice's secure Jane client portal, supported by click-to-call phone links, an embedded Google Map, a free 15-minute consultation offer and a crisis-resources notice in the footer of every page.

Mindframe launched with a custom-coded website and a complete technical SEO foundation, giving the practice a platform to grow its search visibility across Ontario as new pages and blog content are added.
